Fourth uses a small number of cookies. Analytics cookies stay off until you accept them, and we use no advertising cookies at all.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar tools include local storage and small images in emails that show whether an email was opened. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.
2. The cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Provider and examples | Your choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in, secures your account, remembers your cookie choices, and helps prevent payment fraud | Fourth and Lovable Cloud (sign-in session in local storage); Stripe, on payment pages only; our consent cookie | Always on. The Services cannot work without them |
| Analytics | Tells us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how Fourth is used, so we can improve it | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_[ID]) | Off until you accept. Never runs on recovery tracker pages |
| Email measurement | Shows whether our emails were opened or links clicked | Loops | You can turn off images in your email app, or unsubscribe |
| Advertising | Not used | None | Not applicable |
3. Affiliate links and retailer cookies
When you click a product link, you leave Fourth. The retailer or affiliate network, such as Amazon or Impact, may then set its own cookies on its own website to record that the purchase came from Fourth. These cookies are controlled by those companies under their own policies, not by Fourth. You can manage them through your browser settings.
4. How we set up Google Analytics
We have configured Google Analytics to protect your privacy. We use Google Consent Mode, so no analytics cookies are set before you accept. Google Signals, advertising features and data sharing with Google for its own purposes are turned off. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
5. Managing your choices
- Cookie settings. Change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of non-essential cookies.
- Your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of Fourth from working.
6. Changes and contact
If we add a new type of cookie, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. Questions: legal@fourthregistry.com.
